With over 25 successful years in real estate, Joan has also spent time volunteering and serving on the boards of directors for non-profit organizations. She is a consumer advocate by nature, very detail-oriented and carefully keeps track of each aspect of the transaction. Joan cares deeply about her customers and works hard to see that they are satisfied with their sale or purchase. Often her clients become her best friends and vice-versa. She earned a B.A. in Linguistics from the University of Minnesota and graduated Phi Beta Kappa in 1989 after raising three children. A New York City native, Joan has traveled extensively and has lived in several foreign countries as well as in other states. She loves attending local cultural events and treating her friends to gourmet cooking. With all that Santa Fe has to offer, this is by far her favorite place in the world. Mountain biking, hiking, skiing, studying Italian and her standard poodle Stella occupy her leisure time.
